Very nice clouds, Lesley. We also have wonderful clouds in the Pátzcuaro area of Michoacán during the rainy season. But we are presently in NJ.

Yes, the Michoacán/Patzcuaro clouds are equally as impressive, if not more. Hope you’re enjoying NJ.

Beautiful pictures. I sit by my window and watch the clouds go by and I always find a face or an animal shape in them…

Very cool. Thanks for the tip. I now have a word for what I’m doing when I’m taking pictures of clouds: “skying.”

Ah, I love the summertime skies in Oaxaca. I’ve been there the last two years at this time, and this post is making me wistful! This is one of my favorite collections of photos from Oaxaca largely because of the clouds: http://girlunstoppable.com/2010/12/photo-essay-plants-landscapes-and-landmarks-in-oaxaca/

Lovely! Thank you for sharing. Yes, Oaxaca in the summertime is breathtaking — I didn’t realize it until this trip. (We were there in December previously.) Someday I’d love to just whisk myself away from Mexico City and rent a little country house, and write, and lounge around and read. Feeling rejuvenated just thinking about it.

Omg! The clouds look so awesome. So natural.

Have you really taken these pictures in Oaxaca?

If yes then you are really a good vision of taking photos.
